Collemeto - Villa

Radiant villa surrounded by a typical Mediterranean garden, which scents and colors will allow you to enhance your psycho-physical well-being, thanks to the wonderful rural context and the skilful organization of the outdoor and indoor spaces. This property is uphill and provides a beautiful view (Collemeto takes its name from the hill where it stands) that can be appreciated mainly from the terrace and some of the upper bedrooms. The house is built on two levels, but both are ground floors due to the terrain slope, down to the pool area. The villa is perfect for several families, as it offers 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (2 inside the house and one in the pool area), 2 kitchens, a large living room, various equipped areas and lots of comforts. Let's describe it more thoroughly. Through the entrance gate, an alley lined with flowers and various trees leads to the courtyard with flower beds and various parking spaces and then to the house. From the courtyard, a few steps lead to a beautiful terrace, equipped with tables and chairs (excellent for reading a book or sipping a fresh drink). This terrace gives access to the upper eat-in kitchen, brand new and perfectly equipped (oven, fridge and freezer, coffee machine, plates, pots, pans…). Then a large bedroom with two beds (queen + single) and a corridor to 3 other bright bedrooms (queen + single, queen, and a smaller bedroom with a double bed), a beautiful bathroom (glass shower enclosure, bidet, toilet, sink) and the communication door between the two levels. The two floors are in fact connected to each other through an interior staircase but have their own independent access, which gives optimal freedom of movement. So let's get back to the courtyard to describe the lower floor: from the entrance alley, a few stone steps lead down to the large veranda covered with a wooden roof that overlooks the pool area. This space was specially designed for convivial moments, being very large and equipped with a large wooden table (3.10 m long), 15 chairs and benches, a stone barbecue with a marble side table, and a stone oven to bake pizzas. From this veranda, a large and bright glass door leads into the large living room (double sofa bed and fireplace), the dining room and open kitchen. This L-shaped open-space is very beautiful with its kitchen island worktop fixed to the arch that separates the dining area from the kitchen. Nothing is missing: dishwasher, electric oven, microwave oven, large fridge with freezer, espresso coffee machine, and of course complete cookware and cutlery. Outside, a side staircase leads to the terrace from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of the town and the surrounding countryside, very pleasant in the evening as well. From the living room, a short corridor leads to a beautiful bedroom (queen + single) and a bathroom (with disabled shower). Outside again, down along the large gardens is the pool surrounded by paving stones, a lawn, deck chairs, table, chairs, large umbrella, along with a small wooden house with fridge, toilets and a shower. The pool, 11.10 x 5 m, presents a lovely staircase with hydromassage nozzles and offers enchanting nocturnal effects, thanks to its underwater light color changing system. Furthermore, the pool is equipped with a salt cleaning system (much gentler for eyes, hair and skin than chlorine). Next to the pool area, a nice terrace leads to the orchard and citrus grove (prickly pears, red plums, apricots, oranges, mandarins, lemons, grapefruit and pomegranate). This green area is extremely pleasant and relaxing. Finally, in a further part of the property, we have set a large stone barbecue, a table with benches and we are now contemplating setting some sports equipment, which will further improve this amazing villa. The villa is located near the SS 101 road, a fast road that connects Gallipoli to Lecce, therefore it has the advantage of being in a perfect position to travel around Salento. You will reach the lively Gallipoli in just 10 minutes. There, the charming old town or the fine sandy beaches await you: Punta Della Suina, Baia Verde, Rivabella, Padula Bianca, etc. Still in 10 minutes, but in the opposite direction, you will reach the amazing city of Lecce, unique for its Baroque architecture.
